After the match, with the "Yermak," head coach of HC "Donbass" Aleksandr Kulikov compared the fight in Angarsk with the knockout games in the play-offs:
- The game was like for the Cup. Both teams showed good hockey. The match for us was decided in the first period, when we got three goals into our net within a minute. Next, the game was on an equal footing, we could score, but the goalie of "Ermak" worked great.
