HC “Donbass” Head Coach Aleksandr Kulikov commented the main event of on the match against the Italian Club “Ansiago”.

- Today the team has successfully played the first and third periods. Do you have any remarks comments to make to the players?

- In the first period we totally overplayed outplayed our opponents and won 2:0, but we relaxed in the second one. it was seen well by obvious in the game. We missed two pucks but I wouldn’t say that the Italians, with many players from Canada and other countries, are weak week. There are good players. - Unfortunately, one more player dropped out. Yesterday Vasilyev was injured and he couldn’t play today. We waited for Borovkovʼs recovery, but he won’t play. That’s why we had to use Dubrovin as a defenseman in attacks today. It weakened a little bit an the attacking line, because the a defenseman is a defenseman, but there were moments when we had to play shorthanded, about 6 minutes, and several players “were loaded up” with a game, but we still have time for recovery. I think tomorrow everything will be good.

- Is a goalkeeper rotation planned?

- Yes, it is. We don’t give preference to the one goalkeeper and try to give them both the game practice.

- Is it logically that tomorrow Tsaregorodcev will play?

- Well, we will decide after the morning practice.

- You have told us that as for Rouen – “as you expected”. So even before the beginning you expected them as your main pretender rivals for the victory in the tournament.

- We know that without doubts each team will compete. Rouen might be stronger that than the Italians, in whatever but whichever way the match against “Yunost” might end be, in the match between “Donbass” and “Rouen Dragons” will determine the winner of the tournament will be determined.
